The National Visa Center (NVC) will not review a case until all documents, information, and fees pertaining to all required documents are submitted. These include but may not be limited to:

  • Petitioner’s Affidavit of Support
  • Supporting financial documents
  • Applicant’s DS-260
  • Applicant’s civil documents

If your I-140 has been processed and approved by USCIS and the NVC has not made progress on your case, this could be the reason.

To find out more about which documents you may still need to submit visit the US Department of State. More specific information can also be found on this informational page regarding civil documents.
